Announcing a new series of Friday talks by NTFC members!
With the Fall semester in full swing, NTFC is starting a new initiative, simply titled NTFCPresents, highlighting our members research and creative activity as members of the University community. We will be hosting three presentations from colleagues in different fields in the Fall and are planning a similar number of presentations during the Spring Semester.
Our lineup for the Fall Semester:
September 30th at 3 pm at McKinley (room 29), Philip Johnston (Dept. of Dance) will speak about researching, writing, and staging his play “Tom”. Learn more from the attached flyer about Philip’s newest work, which has already seen considerable success in Ireland and which we hope to see at the Krannert soon.
November 4th, noon (location tba) Ed Maclin (Beckman Institute) will take us on a“Random Walk through the Brain.”
December 2, 3 pm (location tba), Dorothee Schneider (Dept. of History) will talk about“Faculty Unions: Is there a History?”
All talks are open to members of the university community. So if you have interested colleagues or students, they are welcome to join us for these presentations.
We will send you a separate flyer on each of these events, but mark your calendars now for this exciting series of presentations by NTFC members!
